Dancer silhouetted against a burning light, arms raised

The Forge

A year-long virtual immersion in ritual movement artistry

A place where expression becomes ceremony, skill becomes initiation, and your movement becomes the vessel for connecting to something greater than yourself.

Begins October 7  ·  Bi-weekly, Wednesdays 4pm PST  ·  Early bird $1,200

You want your dance to be a living, breathing expression of the divine.

A place to honor

The power within skill acquisition, structured training, and developing your unique voice as a dancer.

AND

A place to dive deep

Into the ceremonial, emotive, mythical waters of your inner world.

A hand pressed against a burning orange surface

Something's missing, and it's not another technical class.

You can move your body to the music. You can pick up the beat, find the rhythm, and do the moves you learned in class. But it feels like you're stuck in a liminal space in your practice — like you're ready to break through to a new threshold of capacity.

Ready

To dance in a way that tells the story of your soul with heart-aching beauty.

Ready

To understand just how impactful and medicinal your movement artistry can be.

It's not more choreography. It's not prioritizing looking good over everything else.

You're craving the tools to build your own devotional practice — one that weaves skill with depth, technique with expression, the tangible body with unseen forces.

Birds made of flame rising through darkness

This is The Forge.

A live, hands-on, virtual immersion into the mysteries of becoming a Ritual Movement Artist. A devoted cohort meeting consistently for a full year to deepen into the true potential of your artistry, your mastery of raw expressive movement, and your connection to the forces that guide you.

Not a self-paced library that sits on a shelf and gets dusty.

Not more choreography you never use again.

This is the process of building a dance practice alongside a community, with hands-on embodied exploration and support — one that lets you be in deeper relationship with all of your humanness, inner truths, and creative wildness, and alchemize it all into powerful, eloquent art.

The Community

We were never meant to grow alone. You'll be connected to a whole cohort of likeminded artists — share wins, seek accountability, learn from each other, and discuss the process you're moving through.

By this time next year, you'll be able to…

01

Alchemize the beauty of your pain, struggles, joy and love into breathtaking movement art.

02

Utilize a spectrum of structure to explore and develop — not just copy and mimic.

03

Weave the wisdom of your own body into healing, ritualized journeys.

04

Reliably tap into your own artistry as a connection to something bigger than self.

05

Create the right conditions for your muses to work through you and guide you toward mastery.

Hands reaching upward in warm amber light

A dance practice can be a forge.

A philosophy designed to develop your capacity to move with both artistry and mastery. A container through which you shape how you dance through the world — where your experience and interpretation of life itself becomes the fuel for dancing with more depth, imagination and authenticity.

To tap into that balanced, generative state, we move through the Four Foundations of a holistic Ritual Movement Artist as a living, spiraling cycle.

FORM FEELING FREQUENCY FLOW structure pathways skill precision emotions story sensations embodiment ritual channelling connection divine mystery integration weaving listening release THE FOUR FOUNDATIONS

Form

Structure · Pathways · Skill · Precision

How are you actually moving your body through time and space? What pathways do you take?

This is about using targeted restriction-based learning, curiosity-based models and play-oriented inquiries to actually develop your own dance style.

Feeling

Emotions · Story · Sensations · Embodiment

What does it look like for your body to become a moving expression of grief? Of happiness?

How do intricate sensations and subtle shifts of your nervous system change the shape of your expression? This is about learning to listen more closely to your inner world, and using dance to give it a voice.

Frequency

Ritual · Channelling · Connection · Divine mystery

What is moving you? Where does your inspiration come from? What is the meaning of your movement?

This is about honoring the unseen forces through ritualized dance experiences, creating openings for the divine mystery, and learning to connect your movement to something bigger than self.

Flow

Integration · Weaving · Listening · Release

How does it all fit together? What happens when you stop trying to learn, and lean back into trust?

This is about allowing the work to integrate — creating structures that support getting out of the way, and letting the fruits of your labor show you the magic taking place in the subconscious realms.

The spiral

The key of the spiraling Four Foundations is working in accordance with the cycles of life and death, seasonal shifting, and integrated spectrums. Each Foundation brings its own gifts and discoveries, which feed deeper gifts within the next — building on itself with every spiral.

In FORM you expand your movement vocabulary and develop your own language within dance — and in FEELING you find you have more words to speak the story of your body.

In FREQUENCY you learn to tap into your creative channels and commune with your muses — and back in FORM you find the movement research is fueled by something more profound than before.

In FEELING you get to know exactly how your different parts and emotions want to be expressed — and in FLOW you find you can attune to, interpret and express what's authentically alive for you in any given moment.

Sunlit red fabric moving in the wind
Shoreline at sunset, light breaking across dark sand

Because you know deep in your bones that fast results mean shallow waters.

To truly know something, you need to sit with it long enough for it to reveal itself. You don't want to skim the surface — you want to understand what's really living in the roots.

This is why the Forge is a full year. True growth happens at the speed of nature.

This is for you if…

You want dancing to feel generative, healing, playful and fun — while also challenging your edges, pushing you to grow, and strengthening your devotional discipline.

You're hungry for a path forward in dance that brings you deeper into your creativity, research, and embodied understanding of movement and expression.

You're ready to be in devotion to your artistry, your muses, your movement, and your inner world.

This is not for you if…

You want someone to hand you the right movements rather than develop your capacity to discover them yourself.

You're unwilling to be in the discomfort of experimenting, failing, getting messy, and trying again.

This course was made for…

Adults raised in technical dance training

…who want a more healing relationship to movement.

Ecstatic, contact improv, or back-of-the-crowd dancers

…who are ready for more artistry.

Flow and circus artists

…who want their devotion to movement to translate without a prop or apparatus.

Differently abled bodies, and bodies of any size, shape or community

…who don't feel supported by conventional paths to learning dance.

The complete novice who's never been brave enough to dance

…and is ready to say yes to their inner artist.

There is no audition at the door. You arrive exactly as you are, and we begin there.

Regan mid-movement in tall grass

Meet Regan

I didn't grow up believing I was a dancer. I taught myself to move in my living room at 18, not through choreography or technique, but through curiosity, instinct, and an almost primal need to feel something real in my body. For over a decade, dance became my language and my medicine, the way I metabolized the intensity of being human. It carried me from gogo dancing in nightclubs while tending deep inner wounds, to festival stages around the world, directing and starring in fully produced ritual theater.

The Forge is the distillation of that decade of slowly burning rebellion, of choosing authenticity over technical perfection again and again, and discovering that when humanity leads, the art that emerges carries empowerment, magnetism, and real medicine. I built a full year, rather than another weekend workshop or technique class, because the shifts that actually change how you move through the world only reveal themselves when you sit with them long enough. I am not special. Anyone with the right support and structures can reach the artistry already living in them, and share it in profound ways. That is what this year is for.

A year devoted to becoming

We're all busy, humanning and adulting in a chaotic world. Time is sparse. But this is the beauty of a year-long program: it actually leaves space to move at the speed of nature.

A year where you don't have to catch every single session or cram an entire transformation into a few short months. A year where you can miss a Wednesday, return to the recording when you can, revisit something that moved you six months ago — and discover that your body is meeting the same practice from an entirely different place.

You become more articulate in your body. You begin recognizing your own patterns. You discover pathways you didn't know were available to you.

You learn how to work with structure without becoming trapped by it, and how to surrender to freedom without losing yourself inside it. You start making choices that feel like you.

And slowly, almost imperceptibly, the person who once wondered "am I good enough for this?" begins asking a completely different question:

"What else might be possible?"

Not another thing to consume. Not another library to accumulate. Not another technique to add to the pile. A year of having people who know your name, your movement, your questions, your edges and your unfolding.

By the end you'll have resources, movement research, new skills, new freedom of expression, a community — and a year spent becoming more fluent in your own artistic language. But more importantly, you'll have spent a year learning how to keep forging. The goal was never to arrive somewhere inside the Forge. The goal was to leave knowing how to keep growing for life.

Questions before you say yes

Do I need dance training to join?+

No. There is no audition at the door and no level you need to reach before you're allowed to call yourself an artist. You arrive with whatever movement experience, physical capacity, confidence, history, awkwardness, curiosity or creative longing you have — and we begin there.

What if I can't make a live session?+

You can miss a Wednesday. Sessions are recorded and live in the Toolkit, so you can return when you can — and often you'll meet the same practice from an entirely different place months later.

How much time does the year ask of me?+

Two hours every other Wednesday for the Forging Sessions, plus the practice you keep on your own between them. [Confirm your recommended weekly practice time.]

Is this therapy?+

No. It's artistic training that takes your inner life seriously as material. Deep things surface, and we meet them with ritual, structure and craft — never as a substitute for care from a therapist.

Are the in-person experiences included?+

The full year lives online. In-person experiences happen throughout the year and are priced à la carte — Forge members get exclusive discounts and first access.

What happens after I enroll?+

You'll be welcomed into the Community Hub on Circle, given access to the Mythos Movement Lab, and invited to the Opening Ceremony on October 7. [Add anything you'd like them to bring.]
