Meet your guide

Regan Powers β€” Performing artist, embodiment coach, movement educator

I've spent over a decade performing professionally (ritual theater, burlesque, circus arts) and teaching movement across the globe β€” all without formal dance training.

I started dancing in my 20s. I can't do multiple pirouettes. I've never danced on pointe. I love a flexed foot moment.

But the real reason I care about this work has less to do with the industry and more to do with what dance did for my nervous system.

There was a season where I could feel how much I was holding inside my body. Trauma. Grief. Rage. Sensation that had nowhere healthy to go. I was β€œfunctional,” but I wasn’t fully inhabiting myself. Movement became the place where I could finally metabolize what I’d been carrying.

Not by performing it. Not by forcing a breakthrough. But by learning how to stay present with sensation long enough for it to move, change shape, and integrate. That’s when I discovered something simple and life-changing. When you have a safe container for expression, intensity becomes information instead of destruction.

That’s what I teach inside Mythos.

How to honor your technique while also honoring your humanity. How to be precise without being performative. How to dance with your whole self, not just your trained body. How to move sensation, not just sit with it.

Do I need dance experience?

No formal training required. This works for trained dancers and people with no background who are hungry to explore movement. If you have body awareness from any practice (yoga, martial arts, etc.), you'll thrive here.

How much time do I need?

Practices range from 5-35 minutes. Use them as standalone sessions, combine them into longer practices, or weave them into your existing training.

What if I can't make the live sessions?

All live sessions are recorded. Expansive members get lifetime access to replays.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no commitments. Stay as long as it serves you.

What's the difference between the tiers?
